Meet the Staff


Dr Eric Mann

Eric Mann, M.D.

Dr. Eric Mann graduated magna cum laude from Duke University, where he was on the Dean’s list with honors and distinction all four years. He received his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Yale University at Greenwich, Connecticut. Dr. Mann completed his Ophthalmology residency at New York Medical College where he was taught the most state-of-the-art surgical and medical treatments of the eye. He joined Eye Associates of North Jersey in July of 2005 where he currently owns the practice.

Dr. Mann is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Morris County Medical Society, and is on the medical staff at St. Barnabas Medical Center and Chilton Memorial Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, has been published in prestigious Ophthalmologic journals, including Cornea, and has given a multitude of lectures on eye diseases and their treatments. Dr. Mann also speaks and consults for numerous pharmaceutical companies as well as helps to develop new techniques in the latest of eye care.

As a father of two girls, Dr. Mann enjoys traveling and teaching them about new cultures with his wife Jennifer. Other hobbies include composing music, playing the piano and watching college basketball.

 


Dr Stephanie B. Levey

Stephanie B. Levey, M.D.

Dr. Stephanie B. Levey, M.D. graduated Summa Cum Laude from Union College in Schenectady, NY where she completed her Six-Year Biomedical Education with a Bachelor in Science, Biology with a Minor in Classics. She earned her Doctor of Medicine and Surgery degree, as well as, completing her Internship in Internal Medicine at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. Her Residency in Ophthalmology was obtained from the Krieger Eye Institute at the Sinai Hospital of Baltimore located in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Levey received her Fellowship of Cornea and External Disease from the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Levey is Board Certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology, a Diplomate ABM and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She has been in private practice since 1996. Dr. Levey has many publications and abstracts that can be found in the Survey of Ophthalmology, Archives of Ophthalmology, Annals of Ophthalmology, as well as, Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Science. Dr. Levey has also presented to the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Sinai Hospital and ARVO.

 


Dr Paul Guerriero

Paul Guerriero, M.D., FAAO

Dr. Guerriero is a Board certified Ophthalmic Surgeon specializing in Retina and Vitreous diseases and Uveitis.

Dr. Guerriero received his medical degree in 1983 from Downstate Medical Center. He has extensive clinical and surgical experience from the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary where he received his Residency training in Ophthalmology. As a third year resident, he won the prestigious Louis Girard Award which is given to the graduating senior who has made a significant contribution to ophthalmic research.

Dr. Guerriero continued his specialty training in Atlanta, Georgia in the field of Retina, training under Dr. Bill Hagler and Dr. William Jarrett. Upon finishing his training Dr. Guerriero started clinical vitreoretinal practices in the tri-state area. Dr. Guerriero is licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. He is a member of the American Retina Specialists. With over 30 years of history in private practice, his experienced in medical and Surgical Retina is extensive. His major professional interests are in the areas of Macular Degeneration and Diabetic Retinopathy.

 


Dr Amy McHugh

Amy McHugh, O.D.

Dr. Amy McHugh graduated cum laude from Rider University where she studied biology and received honors distinction in her field of study. She received her optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University where her internships included primary care, contact lens, serving low vision and blind populations as well as those with significant ocular disease. Dr. McHugh completed her Ocular Disease and Refractive Surgery Residency in June 2019 at OMNI Eye Services of New Jersey and New York focused on treatment and management of glaucoma, cataracts, retinal disease, corneal disease, pediatrics and post-operative care. She joined Eye Associates of North Jersey in August of 2019 where she provides primary and medical eye care.

Dr. McHugh is a member of the American Optometric Association and the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians. She is board certified by the National Board Examiners of Optometry and then New Jersey State Board of Optometrists. She has been published in numerous scientific journals and has a patent for her scientific research. Dr. McHugh has lectured at local optometry society meetings focused on the continued education of local optometrists in the area of ocular disease. She has also lectured at schools discussing visual awareness and the importance of seeking eye examinations.

In her free time, Dr. McHugh enjoys adventuring outdoors including visiting US national parks, hiking, camping and water sports. She also enjoys photography and cooking.
